I am so excited about 2011! How about you? I have new passions that are being ignited, my heart is exploding with gratitude and I hear the Universe saying YES! YES! YES! Now before you start thinking or imagining that my life as a Reiki “guru” is all peaches and cream….allow me to interrupt!

On September 26th my dear father-in-law took a nasty fall while vacationing with me and my husband. This was the beginning of very turbulent waters for me and especially my husband. The last 3 months and the nightmarish events that have taken place are no less than the kind of drama that you would only see or hear about when watching the TV shows “20/20″ or perhaps “60 Minutes”. I am NOT kidding! Those people who are close to me keep saying “Geeze Lisa, you should write a book!” But hey, I have not even been able to write my newsletters since the bad fall…..so no book!

I will not give details at this time because I choose to stop giving these events power over my life and my family’s happiness. However, I will share here that my father-in-law died November 1st. He was my husband’s best friend, mentor, and business partner. We miss him terribly and we send blessings of love with him as he ventures into whatever is next on his journey. We love you Dad!

Since September 26 I have had the opportunity to practice literally every Reiki healing tool in my “Reiki Tool Box”, just to stay above the turbulent waters, and to keep my husband alive. Have you ever heard the saying “Practice what you preach”? It seems I was given huge opportunities to do exactly that! I would like to share a few of my healing techniques from my “Reiki Tool Box” with you and a few things that I have been learning over the last 3 months;

1. I did Reiki on myself every morning before I got out of bed to give myself a charge for the day and to strengthen my light. (Sometimes 15 minutes and sometimes 30 minutes.)
2. I did Reiki on myself every night as I lay in bed just before going to sleep. My intention was to clear my aura from low, negative energies that I was heavily surrounded in during the day with so much drama. (15 to 30 minutes)
3. On a daily basis I surrounded my home and family with a Reiki mist to assist in repelling off “less than light” energy that was directed towards my home.
4. I hung a HUGE mirror in the front entrance of my home to reflect back negative thoughts and feelings to their original owners and away from my home and family. This is a Feng Shui technique that I learned.
5. I built Reiki crystal healing grids and I put the names of ALL people involved in the drama into my grids. Yes, even the people who appear to be causing the most pain! (especially those people) I charged my grids daily and I kept one at home and one at work. This technique is learned in the ART Level. (Advanced Reiki Training)
6. I cleansed my house periodically with burning sage sticks. An ancient Native American technique used for clearing negativity. I add Reiki to this technique by drawing the Power Symbol (Cho Ku Rei) with the sage bundle in the corners of each room in my house.
7. I used Reiki Drumming several times weekly to infuse all of my Reiki symbols into my home, myself, my kids and my husband. The intention was to heal rips or tears in our auric field.
8. I released pride and I received assistance from friends who love me and care about me.
9. I released my old thought patterns that were creating negative feelings, and I received GRATITUDE! (have you ever felt so much gratitude within your body that you questioned if you were having a heart attack?) I utilized the healing energy of the Mental/Emotional Reiki symbol (Sei He Ki) to assist me in this process.
10. I released aloneness that I mistook for independence and I received strength that unity and connection create.

Well, those were just a few ideas that we can utilize as Reiki practitioners and co-creators with God and Goddess. I would like to remind you of one more thing that my powerful and beautiful friend Mindi is really good at reminding me of when I most need to hear it. “When you are face to face with a challenge in your life, it is how you choose to handle it that matters most!”

So, the New Year is upon us. Are you ready? Are you in touch with your passions? Do you recognize what it is that drives you? Are you willing to step up to the plate as the co-creator that you are? I AM, and I invite you each to stand in your power along side me. This is a time to be very clear and careful about what you are presently creating! This is a time to wake up and smell the roses! A time to be conscious of your every thought and action!

The year 2011 has very specific energy for us to be aware of. It is to your benefit to gain knowledge about how to work with the New Year’s energy and this is why I have asked my dear friend, and former Reiki student, Kim Page to write an article in this month’s newsletter, so keep reading, and ENJOY!

A Powerful Energetic Gateway to Create our Ultimate New Beginning

Hello to you as we welcome the new energy of the planet. I am excited to share with you about the new beginnings on the horizon, waiting for each of us.

As energetic beings, we respond to vibrations around us and create from vibrations within us. This duel force, gives an opportunity to get in sync with these energies as vibrational resources. The qualities of the energy within and around us directly influence our ability to bring our created thoughts into manifestation. When we recognize ourselves as energy beings with energetic resources, we begin to transform our destiny.

In this time there is a big call to action, as we are experiencing a galactic alignment happening in our night sky. This alignment ushers in a new energetic resource we are referring to as the New Age. This is a time when we enter into the Age of Aquarius from the age of Pisces.

There is no mistake that for many of us, the last few years our lives have been a process of uncovering all of our old junk and hidden issues. Our pain has been highlighted, and trials have been endured, even with the things you thought you had resolved long ago. During the last few years we have experienced at greater and greater degrees, the insistence of the universe to let go of our old creations, as we approach the 1/1/11 date. For many of us, myself included, we have felt like small children getting our blankets ripped away. There is a purpose to this and a divine plan.

Specifically in the last six months, many of us have been experiencing obstacles sent from another, wiser part of us, designed to propel us forward with greater force and speed. In an effort to protect us and to bring us to an even better place than we could have imagined we could be. We have experienced the intensity of our shadow selves, repressed emotions and desires, and deep longings for something more. The intensity has been high enough that some of us have even felt like giving up or giving in.

We now find ourselves at the time where we have to begin to rely on the energetic resources available to us through astrology, numerology and subtle energy to boost our transformation. We can tune into the bridge of information that has been left for us to discover and implement for our own clarity and ability to focus our energies in to a direction that serves all of humanity in the New Age.

This has been a long prophesized moment in time and many of us have heard the call of the importance of the number 11, although we may not have known what it really was. You may have even found yourself seeing 11 on the clock or other signs around you constantly over the last few years. For it has all been in an effort to wake us up and direct us towards this period of transformation in 1/1/11.

In the old energy, we sought out our source of power, money, and happiness from outside ourselves. We learned to keep ourselves busy to avoid the deep, empty, longing that comes as we have being separated from a wiser part of ourselves. Recently, we have been waking up and longing to show up 100% in our vocations, our families and in the world. We are beginning to understand connection, cooperation and love as the true keys to abundance, prosperity and fulfillment.

In the new energy we embrace freedom and liberation. It is a time of peace as we learn to live and work from our inner passions, as we learn to move from our intuitive, feeling centers, and as we begin to operate from the subtle rhythm of our wiser selves.

As we move into this powerful,energetic gateway and you begin to create your ultimate new beginning, I invite you to let go of all your old creations. Allow your wiser self to create for you a new “now moment” filled with all your deepest desires, giving yourself permission to change in each new and perfect moment.

Just when I think I have it all planned out then life happens! This is why July newsletter has evolved and combined into July/August newsletter! Everything I “planned” to write in July has changed as I now have new opportunities and new ideas to share with you and put out to the Universe!

I am currently in L.A with my youngest daughter. She is a dancer and we have come for national competitions as well as a week of auditioning to be a company dancer for L.A. Dance Magic. For the last 8 days I have watched hundreds of teenagers dance with their hearts as if their physical bodies were limitless and weightless. I watch them laugh with their bellies! I see authenticity in their tears of excitement and joy. Their support and wishes for each other to do well is genuine. However, this is a competition and therefore low scores vs. high scores equal losers and winners. So, I have also seen heartbreak, fear, blame, and attacks of self-esteem. Needless to say, we have been on an emotional roller coaster ride!

But isn’t this how it is for all of us? Isn’t life a big crazy roller coaster ride with ups and downs? How then, can we create our own reality full of abundance, joy and happiness with all this craziness going on in the world around us? My answer has been inspired by watching and feeling all these amazing teenagers around me (and their teachers). My answer is…

Learn, Laugh, and Love!

I have decided that for me, if I simply maintain a balance of learning, laughing and loving then I can manage whatever else life wants to throw into the mix! I know that we create our own reality by choosing the way we respond to life situations and outside relationships. I have also learned that I do better with my “choosing” if I come from inner balance when I make my choice. My inner balance then reflects back to me as my reality via my choices. So, I choose to stay open to all possibilities of learning. I choose to laugh at myself and to attract friends who give me a good belly laugh (you know who you culprits are). I choose to laugh at the simple wisdom of my grandchildren. I choose to let go and just love as often as humanly possible. When not possible then I ask God and Goddess to fill me up with light until I can choose love again.

What brings YOU inner balance? Music? Beauty? Learning? Dancing? Laughter? I wish to inspire each of you to ponder this and get clear with some answers. Perhaps you are feeling out of sorts or out of alignment, even though you “thought” you were doing what creates inner balance for you? Could it be that you have changed and grown out of the old? Is it time to visit your inner castle? Speaking of “castle”, are any of you Carolyn Myss fans? I am! She was one of my first gurus about 20 years ago. You might like to know that she has produced a new program titled “Entering the Castle”. It is 9 cds with her direct and spicy lecture along with some guided meditations.

Well anyway, let me just say CONGRATULATIONS to each and every dancer this week who dared to dance with their hearts wide open, who dared to cry, laugh, win, lose, be scared, make mistakes and even fall down! Let us all learn from these teenagers who have created their own powerful inner balance! I dare YOU to do the same? And thank you to my daughter Rosie, you truly are a Goddess of Dance!

Cool Stories from Cool Reiki Students!

I have been doing Reiki on anybody I can get my hands on here at summer school, and wondered about some reactions. One client was having moderate abdominal pain where she had surgery 20 some years ago, and as I proceeded with the Reiki she felt such heat that it was like I had a steam iron there. My hands felt much more energy and heat than usual too. She came in the next morning beaming with excitement as her pain was nearly gone. Her face showed it too!

Other clients have said they feel a “pulling” sensation as if my hands are pulling things away, or opening things, like a sinus passage.

And from another cool student…………………

My very best friend Chanda has fibromyalgia. Quite often I give her a Reiki treatment that gives her great relief from pain and reduces her stress immensely. She is a true testament to the wonderful powers of Reiki. I also have a black cat named Ebby. Every time I give Chanda a treatment Ebby shows up and jumps onto the table with Chanda and nestles himself in between her knees. He makes himself very comfortable. I have tried to take him off the table but he just jumps back up. Chanda, being the animal lover she is, insists I leave him there. As I give the Reiki treatment Ebby goes into a very deep, relaxed state and after it is over he seems to be in a “kitty coma”.

He is sooo relaxed and content. Needless to say, he knows when I am doing Reiki and loves it and must be a part of it. I truly believe he can feel the wonderful energy and, as a cat, always gets his way.

Spirit Speaks!

Or is it crazy voices in my head? Actually I think it’s my friend Adrienne who will not stopping bugging me to get myself back on track with the writing of my book……….aahhh……….yes I said book! This is where I get a huge taste of practicing what I preach “Feel the fear and do it anyway!”

My book will cover about 4 different topics ie; loss of a loved one, the grieving process, accepting happiness again, and the spiritual realm as it pertains to communicating with our loved ones.

You may or may not know that my oldest son, Shayne, died when he was 19 years old. He passed over on March 9, 2001. I plan to share in my book what the journey has been like to be “the mother who has lost a child”. My growth and spiritual connection are very inspired by my son and his death.

Please share your miracles?

I see too many parents suffering with their loss of connection to their child who has died. This breaks my heart. My purpose is to give relief and offer healing for their suffering. This is where many of you can possibly assist…..

I will have a very special chapter in my book that will hold dear and sacred information. This chapter is reserved for grieving parents to read the stories of other parents who have also lost a child. These stories will give examples of communication with their children’s spirits. Many of you have come to me for Reiki treatments and spiritual channeling. I have been the witness of miraculous connections and healings. I would love to add as many of these stories as possible. My purpose is to restore grieving parents with their hope and connection.

I know that I have also done channeling for many of you who wanted to communicate with parents, siblings, grandparents, best friends, and other loved ones who have passed over. I would like to share these experiences as well and I would very much appreciate your assistance.

ALL experiences, big and small are valuable. ALL messages received, silly and serious are valuable. So PLEASE do not hesitate to send me your story. The point I want to make when parents, and others, are stuck in grief is that communication is still possible. My own opinion, based on my experience of working with hundreds of clients, is that all communication with the Spiritual realm is valuable and sacred!

Chakra Healing

August 14, I am very excited to teach Chakra 101!When I first learned about chakra anatomy, every moment became an “aha moment”. My eyes were opened and so many questions about “who I am” and “why do I do the things I do” got answered.

Your Chakra System is no longer considered by us “Westerners” to be weird voodoo. In fact, your chakra centers have been scientifically proven to exist using technology developed from the NASA space program by Dr.Valorie Hunt. She also verified that each chakra is connected to our sensations, feelings and thoughts. So? What are you waiting for? Knowledge about your-self is EMPOWERING! It can also be FUN! Who needs a psychic? Its easy to learn for yourself how to read your own energy patterns!

Besides teaching you about yourself, Chakra 101 also teaches you how to clear and balance your chakras using aromatherapy, crystal healing, meditation, worksheets, and more!

August 15,Chakra 102 will blow you away! Sound therapy has been proven over and over to be an effective healing technique. This is why I have added drumming to my client’s treatments as well as to my class curriculum. In my Chakra 102 class you will learn how to cleanse and revitalize your aura and chakras using the power of drumming. To add to the fun you will be taking home your own drum so that you can continue working on yourself as well others! Pre-requisite is Chakra 101. Absolutely NO musical experience necessary. Registration deadline for Chakra 102 is August 1st so that our drums can get ordered and arrive on time!

Inner Balance thru Meditation

Earlier in this newsletter I talked about going within yourself to find what brings you inner balance. One of the most powerful techniques used for this has been around since the beginning of time, it is called meditation.

I am offering a meditation class once every month. I am the first to admit how awesome they have been. Those of you who have joined me I know will agree! We are learning so much from each other and the personal healing has been profound!

We meet from 6pm to 8pm at my classroom in Orem. The cost is $20 at the door. Seating is limited to the first 12 people who call me to reserve seats. You can leave me a voicemail at 801-360-6909.

Ready to move upward? Ready to claim your “Divine Right” to abundance?

Oh and what does “Divine Right” actually mean? What is your reality concerning God/Goddess or Source Energy? Who or what is your Higher Self? Who are YOU and why are you here? Who or what creates abundance….or lack thereof?

Uugghhh…………does anybody out there get confused at times?

I may or may not have YOUR specific answers, BUT I know how you can get in touch with your own answers! OPEN YOUR CROWN CHAKRA, also known as your 7th Chakra.

This energy center is the end of our journey through our 7 main Chakras. It is located on the top of your head where your soft spot was as a baby. The color is majestic purple. (some see it as white, or both) It governs cosmic consciousness, your connection to spiritual wisdom, knowledge of truth, your purpose in this lifetime, and your spiritual path. This power center is your connection to God/Goddess, your Higher Self, or your Spirit Self. It resonates with unity, humanitarianism, and selfless service.

Characteristics of an out-of-balance 7th Chakra could be: depression, a feeling of confinement, intense worry and anxiety, fear of religion, fear of spirituality, unable to live in the present moment. Feeling selfish, alone, disconnected and alienated, having senility and confusion, behaving catatonic, destructive personality, hesitation to serve, having a huge ego with no sense of a higher power! WOW!

So how do you keep your 7th Chakra healthy in order to connect to the Divine and maintain your openness to receive abundance as the divine child that you are???

I LOVE this chakra because I LOVE talking about God and Goddess, therefore I could go on and on with tips and ideas BUT for the sake of keeping this newsletter short and sweet I will just share a few favorites!

1. Keep 95% of your attention in the NOW. You know darn well that the past is gone…the future is always in the future….therefore you only truly ever have NOW! (have you read the book “The Power of Now”)

2. Do not become overly attached to anything in this physical, worldly plane. Attachments get in the way of your spiritual growth and become detours on your path, or your purpose in life. People get too attached to their house, cars, favorite pair of diamond earrings, or a piece of real estate that has been in the family for generations, etc. etc. Yes, these things all have great value, but are they more valuable than your connection with universal source energy, or Mother/Father God?

3. People also get too attached to their beliefs, their ideas, their philosophies, their goals, and the plans they have laid out for their future. Did you ever stop to think that maybe these plans, goals and beliefs could be leading you away from your spiritual path?

I have a true story to share that has changed the way I do my career, my family, and my friendships. I knew a lady that had it all together – earned a good income, was beautiful, she had a husband and children, and a perfect retirement plan. Every day she went to work with her awesome future in mind, knowing if she earned a lot of money today, she could retire by the age of 45, which was her plan. Family vacations were rare, and extra spending just took money from the future. She spent more and more time at work, as did her husband, both preparing financially for their awesome future. Their marriage became lifeless, without passion, lacking love and nurturing. Their children became angry, resentful, abandoned, and lonely. Every now and then, usually when a situation forced her to, she would recognize what was happening to her family, but her response was always the same: “It will be okay. In just a few years, we will retire with lots of money, and then we can all spend a lot of time together. Just wait and see, our future will be awesome!”

This friend of mine lacked the ability to live in the present. She was too attached to her retirement plan, too attached to her ideas of what the future should look like. She died of a heart attack at the age of 41, leaving behind lots of money, unfulfilled plans, no vacation memories, and grieving children. I would like to take a moment here, and say Thank You to my dear friend, for the lesson I learned from her. I want to make it clear, that she was not wrong, or bad. She did the best she could do with the knowledge she had. She was simply following advice from generations before her along with her financial planner “work, work, work, save and plan for the future”.

Her powerful legacy lives on as I share her story. I always feel her inspiring Spirit with me when I share her life experience. My lesson learned here is; Everything in moderation with common sense. Let go of attachment to my ideas, patterns, thoughts, opinions, goals, belief systems. Trust my ability to be flexible as I gain courage to stretch, release, and grow spiritually!

Reality Shifting Project

Part 6 of a 7 part series. You can find parts 1 thru 5 in Oct-Nov-Jan-Feb-March newsletters

This month we are shifting our reality with a new perception. We are moving upward from our 5th Chakra to the 6th Chakra. This energy center is also referred to as your 3rd eye as it channels that which we cannot detect with our physical eyes. It relates to vision, perception, psychic ability, dreams, imagination and spiritual guidance. The color resonates to indigo blue. It is located on your forehead between your eyebrows.

I have created the following worksheet to assist you in getting in touch with the health of your 6th Chakra as well as give you a tool to use in balancing it. Grab a paper and pen and answer these questions before you read on. Answer them completely honest. There is no wrong answer and nobody else needs to read what you write. Trust your first random answers without trying to make them sound good or “right”!

Lets talk more about the 6^th Chakra. When it spins sluggishly or not at all a person tends to be undisciplined, will fear success and set their sights too low. They may be afraid of the spiritual realm or spiritual guidance, they find themselves living aimlessly and often in a fog. When there is excessive energy we can become arrogant, judgmental, and pessimistic withconstant negative thinking. We lack the ability to see beauty in ourselves,in others and our surroundings. This is how we block our ability to see and manifest abundance in our lives!

You have the power to change your perception of what you see on a daily basis which then becomes your reality! I encourage you to step into this power and bring balance into your life which then attracts ABUNDANCE in all shapes and forms!

Monthly Meditation Classes

We now have held 2 very successful Monday night meditation classes. We are having a fun and powerful 2 hours together with chakra singing bowls, drumming, aromatherapy, guided visualization, and quite interesting discussion with really cool people!

We meet the 3rd Monday of every month 5pm to 6:45pm. Cost is $20 and RSVP is required by calling Lisa @ 801-360-6909.

May 17th. I will take you on a drum journey to connect to your “highest self” and bring back to the present moment that part of you that is “all knowing and always connected to Divine wisdom”. We will also discuss the 7th chakra which is the energy center that connects you to Mother/Father God and your higher self. A closing meditation will be used to connect your spiritual body with your physical body.

June 21st. I will teach you a quiet, peaceful way of sitting in meditation that I learned while attending a 10 day meditation retreat with world renowned Deepak Chopra. He is an amazing man, and a powerful teacher of inner peace and mindful meditation. The technique you will learn is called “Sutra Meditation”.

July 19th. I have not yet decided what this class will offer? So we just get to wait until Spirit speaks? (any ideas?)

Another 6th Chakra Tid-Bit…

To assist in balancing your 6th Chakra you can dab a drop of essential oil directly on this part of your body (on forehead between eyebrows) and repeat the following affirmations;

“I choose to perceive beauty as I look into the mirror at my own reflection of light”

“I choose to see others through the eyes of God in their own perfection as children of a perfect God and Goddess.”

“I choose to perceive safety, support, abundance and love in my world.”

Essential oils used for the 6th Chakra can be Sandalwood, Violet, Peppermint, Myrrh, and Spearmint.

So I have a special request. Please keep sending your love and healing light to these parts of our world. Please keep these people in your hearts filled with compassion. And PLEASE release your fears and worries concerning any of these events into the light to be transformed and healed.

Remember that fear and worry resonate a very low vibration and most of the people effected by these events are likely to already be feeling overwhelmed with their own fear and worry. So keep your minds focused on healing and recovery. Surround these people and events with the highest vibration of light as possible to assist them in rising up and moving forward!

I have another request. Please remember yourself, your own healing, personal transformation, your breakthroughs that many of you write to me about. Remember that the world transforms when we transform individually. Until we all get this, until we all understand this, we are going to keep repeating the same global patterns that our history is showing us!

I have had several requests from clients and students to teach a weekly meditation class. Most of you are probably in the same boat as me when I say that weekly might be pushing it? However, monthly is very do-able and I am way excited to get started!

I will be offering this class the 3rd Monday of each month. From 5:00pm to 6:45pm.Cost is $20. RSVP required. I have room for only 20 students so you will need to leave me a voice message at least by the day before @ 801-360-6909 to reserve your seat.

The following is the monthly class agenda;

March 15th. I will take you on a drum journey meditation that will assist you to go back to a time where you lost your voice, swallowed your right to speak. This will give you the chance to reclaim your power in your throat chakra. We will also discuss the 5th Chakra (throat chakra) and other ways to heal this energy center. We will close with a grounding meditation that connects you to Mother Earth.

April 19th. Open your 3rd Eye and meet your Spirit Guides. I will use guided imagery to assist you in connecting to the Spiritual realm for messages and guidance. We will discuss the 6th Chakra, also known as your “3rd Eye” and other ways to open it. We will close with a healing meditation that grounds you for support and stability.

“Reality Shifting Project”

So are you learning where you might be blocking the flow of abundance in your body? Are you discovering how abundant you really are?

Do you get how you are creating your own reality with your thoughts and belief systems? Are you realizing what a powerful creator you are? And what exactly are you creating? And how is it working for you? (or not?)

Did you throw out those bottles of poison and start working on forgiveness? Well no worries……….you still have today! Open up your heart baby and let’s keep moving!

Next on our journey through our energy anatomy is the 5th Chakra, welcome to your center of willpower and communication, also known as your Throat Chakra. This power center is located in your throat area and resonates to a beautiful sky blue color. The element is sound.

Your 5th Chakra is concerned with personal expression in speech, writing, singing and the arts. This energy center governs speech, sound, vibration and communication.

Characteristics of when your Throat Chakra is out of balance could be verbal abuse, talking too much, arrogance, self righteousness, constantly butting in or cutting off conversations, where the flip side of the coin would be holding back one’s thoughts, swallowing feelings and words, stuttering, severe shyness, and rarely speaking.

Physical symptoms of an out-of-balance Throat Chakra, could be a re-occurring sore throat, neck pain, thyroid problems, hearing problems, canker sores, TMJ, cervical disc disease, teeth and gum diseases, constant clearing of the throat.

Hmmm…….do any of these symptoms sound familiar to you? Are you blocking your right to the universal flow of abundance here in your throat? If so…then time to cleanse!

1. Sing! Chant! Scream! Simply EXPRESS your-self, let it out! Release, go outside right now and scream! If you are too shy to scream in front of nature then grab a pillow and let it out and NOW is a perfect time?

2. Write a letter and then burn it, or mail it, or rip it up! Get your words, thoughts, and feelings, out of your chakra and on to paper.

3. Draw. Grab a crayon, marker, pen, paper, and draw a picture or just scribble! It feels so dang good to scribble……..I love it!

4. Pray out-loud. Open your mouth, use your voice and pour your heart out to the heavens. God and Goddess are listening!

Wow! Didn’t that feel good! Now let’s do some balancing work……………

1. Get a drumming treatment or perhaps find a drumming circle in your community. Drum therapy is a powerful tool for healing all of your chakra centers but especially this 5th chakra!

2. Sign up for voice lessons. When my oldest son died at age 19 his sisters were age 20, 9 and 6. His little brother was 13. Obviously my family went into survival mode for the first year or so. After that we all started to grieve differently which created separation and loneliness. It wasn’t until I got my 3 daughters into voice lessons that we could all come together again to share our feelings. They sang special songs directly related to their brother. They sang from their hearts and we listened with tears in our eyes. This gave us opportunity to heal together and have unity.

3. Actions can also be an excellent way of communicating expressions of your truth, especially if you have someone who is unwilling to hear your words or accept what you say. Use actions to reinforce what you want to teach or communicate. Walk your talk!

4. Do aromatherapy with essential oils Chamomile and Myrrh. You can put a few drops of either oil directly on your Throat Chakra and allow the aroma to fill you as you breathe in and say out-loud “I am open and willing to lovingly speak my truth in all situations in my life. I am now willing to stand in my power and claim my voice.”

I challenge each of you to really take it on this month! What are you not saying? What are you holding back? Remember that Universal Life Force Energy is channeled through your Chakra System. Open your channel and be willing to receive abundance and prosperity. Open your throat chakra and lovingly speak your truth with compassion and the willingness to allow others to speak their truth as well!

True communicators recognize their right to express their feelings but do so in a way that does not diminish the other person.

“Reality Shifting Project”

This is part 4 of a 7 part series that I am discussing on Chakra Anatomy and how it affects your ability to receive prosperity and abundance. If you are a newcomer to Healing Light Newsletters please see October, November and January newsletters posted on my website for parts 1, 2, 3.

Ok everybody, how did your 3rd Chakra work go last month? Did you clear away the stuck energy of low self esteem, the need to control, and the need for other’s approval? (Just imagine all the abundance that can now flow through this open energy center!)

Did you start a daily exercise routine? Did you pick up any new healthy eating habits? Did you find ways to honor yourself? Did you muster up the courage to stand in your power and be who you really are? ( meaning that you listen to Spirit more often than you listen to Ego Mind.)

I know of somebody who has been working diligently on her 3rd chakra and she has agreed to share one of her experiences. Her name is Mary. Most of us call her Me-Mary. You might recall me mentioning her previously as the person who gave me the lesson in receiving abundance and letting go of the guilt associated with it? This was a huge lesson for me because I realized that guilt was stopping my flow of abundance! My side of this story is written in November newsletter. Here is her side;

“So – as you know, Lisa threw a fit and demanded from her Angels and the Universe that ABUNDANCE show up for her. She was feeling in a space of scarcity to provide for her children and grandchildren while cutting back her full time work schedule to be home with them after school. When I heard this my heart opened up and I knew that I got to show up in a BIG way to assist.

I decided to go to Walmart because I heard Lisa mention that little MarySunshyne (her 3 year old granddaughter) needed socks. I bought a couple dozen pair of socks – all colors, all styles and some with pretty lacey tops. I was feeling so much love for Lisa & MarySunshyne that I didn’t want to stop there. My heart wanted to pick out some cute outfits, pants, tops, dresses, pajamas . . . everything you could think of! But, I went into a space of fear, what if Lisa’s feelings got hurt, what if I went overboard, what if I gave too much, what if I offended Lisa? That was and is the last thing I wanted. So, I settled for just the assortment of socks, I put them in a cute girly gift bag & drove over to Lisa’s.

Lisa was surprised to see me at the door, especially because I had seen her earlier in the day when I got my scheduled Reiki massage. I held up the gift bag and said ‘Surprise, I have a present for MarySunShyne’. Though it was also a gift for Lisa, to assist in lightening a burden that I knew she was feeling.

I felt that her reaction was mixed, grateful but with a feeling of what are you doing, this is too much and maybe even a feeling of embarrassment? For the time being I just pushed those feelings aside because at the same time my own fear and insecurities were taking over. My Ego Mind was taking over! Did I do too much and did I go overboard? I was in a space of fear of Lisa, what if she got upset or offended or worse yet, what if she got pissed off that I was taking action to provide where I saw a need?!

Well – I stayed in this space with my fears and insecurities for a day or so. Then I decided that this little girl deserved certain things, especially warmer clothing since the weather was starting to change. My Spirit reminded me that inside my heart I knew I had made this commitment to show up and NOW was the time – regardless of how it looked to Lisa! I also realized that I could not control how she might choose to respond to my gift nor did I care anymore!

I found myself at Kid-to-Kid. Well, lets just say, they had everything I could have possibly wanted and more. The selection was perfect and I left with 3 large bags full of clothes, shoes, boots, a winter coat and even a fun ballerina outfit with a pink tutu. The next day I went back to Walmart to get some cute girly underwear and other items to create a complete new wardrobe.

When I got everything home and was organizing it all, I was surprised at how much there was. At this point I was still excited and had fun putting it all together in the boxes. I wrote a quick note to Lisa stating ‘Well, you asked for ABUNDANCE and SURPRISE, it showed up!’ I packed the boxes into my car and drove over to Lisa’s house. When I arrived I could feel the excitement turn into FEAR as my Ego Mind took over again! ‘Okay, do I drop the boxes off and run or do I knock on the door and deliver in person?’ I chose the drop and run option! I left the boxes by the back door and quickly drove out of the drive way. I left Lisa a voicemail that there was a surprise for her at her back door and left it at that.

I was buzzing! The adrenaline was crazy! I was excited that I had followed through with my Spirit and at the same time I was anxious of how Lisa would react to it all. I went home, keeping my phone close to me all day, expecting a call from Lisa at any minute. That was a long day – no call came through? Yes, I went into fear AGAIN!!!! ‘What have I done? She must be angry! She will never talk to me again? I did go overboard, I pushed a boundary and went too far!’ (At least this is what my Ego Mind wanted me to believe.)

In my heart I KNEW I had done exactly what my Spirit told me was the right thing to do. My Spirit knew how much Lisa loved me and my Spirit reminded me that Lisa knew how much I loved her. So, back and forth I went for the rest of the day. What a roller-coaster ride! I finally decided if Lisa was upset with me that she was just going to have to deal with it and get over it!

Later that evening I went online to check my emails and to my delight and excitement I had an email from Lisa! Once again my insecurities crept in! ‘Should I open the email? What if this is where the friendship ends?’ My heart was racing as I finally opened it. I began to cry with love and gratitude that she was so receptive of my gift to her and MarySunshyne. I am most thankful for following direction from my Spirit and for claiming my power enough to trust myself and make it okay to give to a very deserving little girl and her grandma.

I learned quite a bit from this experience and I know my friendship with Lisa became stronger. My level of confidence rose as I embraced the giving part of ABUNDANCE and both Lisa and I continue to grow from this experience as it continues to bring up new lessons in the ripple that was created. How perfect that we are moving into the 4th Chakra energy center for the month of February! This is your heart chakra. It is located in the center of your chest, associated colors are a sparkling emerald green, and sometimes a beautiful, soft pink.

Your Heart Chakra is concerned with unconditional love for which you accept another for doing their best. Through this Chakra we learn compassion towards others, and we practice forgiveness. We learn to balance the love of others and the love of ourselves. The basis of unconditional love is acknowledging and loving our dark side as well as the parts we admire. This energy center also opens us up to feel true passion, a burning sensation in our heart that inspires us to take action that will bring us ultimate joy! A cleansed heart chakra will give you the opportunity to offer your heart and soul in relationships without expectations!

Characteristics of when the 4th Chakra is out of balance could be: co-dependency, feeling unworthy to receive love, feeling possessive, overly dramatic, self-pity, being out of touch with feelings, numbness to pain as well as pleasure, stuck in un-forgiveness, having a lack of passion as well as compassion, upper back pain, heart problems, breast cancer, hypertension, asthma, high blood pressure etc. Uuggh! None of these characteristics sound very fun…………….so lets do some cleansing!

1. Crystal Therapy for cleansing and loving your 4th Chakra:

The specific crystals used are Rose Quartz, Green Jade, Green Calcite, and Watermelon Tourmaline. Find a beautiful silk pouch that you can hang around your neck carrying one or more of these stones over your heart. Also place into the pouch a written affirmation that could say “I now cleanse and release stuck energy that represents old hurts and suppressed feelings.”

2. Create a Forgiveness List. Write down the names of people whom you are still holding grudges against.(remember to write your own name) Light a beautiful pink candle, or perhaps green, then burn your list as you repeat out loud “I now cleanse all un-forgiveness towards these people as I release their names into the light to be healed completely.” Give yourself permission to forgive. Un-forgiveness is like swallowing poison and expecting somebody else to die!! Forgiveness is something you do for yourself – not the other person. It gets it off our chest, your lungs and your heart. It is a huge, bold choice for healing yourself and opening yourself up to an abundance of love. Remember that the first person who deserves forgiveness is YOURSELF!

After cleansing, it is time to re-charge and balance;

1. The essential oils that resonate with and energize your Heart Chakra are: Rose, Bergamot, and Melissa. Simply put two or three drops in the palms of your hands and put up to your nose and breathe in fully.

2. Find out what your passions are? Find a passion that feeds your heart. Be willing to take risks or leaps of faith. Most people don’t even know what passions they have! I ask this question a lot to my clients, and I very rarely get a passionate answer. Passions activate and expand your Heart Chakra. To passion firefurther explore what your passions are, I recommend that you look back into your childhood…what did you love to do? What did you daydream about? Also, look into your future? What do you see yourself doing and where are you? Energize your Heart Chakra and create a list of passions!

3. Remember that you need all emotional nutrients to be healthy. That includes but is not limited to love, anger, joy, hurt, sadness, grief, etc. Do not become stuck on just one emotion, balance your heart chakra by allowing yourself to feel all them! For example, people with hardening of the arteries and heart diseases are usually stuck on the emotions of hostility and anger. FYI to all the women reading this – studies show that the number one killer of women in this country is heart disease. I challenge each of us women to be aware of, and to feel the anger that we might be holding onto in our Heart Chakras. Recommended reading “Feelings Buried Alive never Die”.

I would like to leave you with an affirmation that you can use to energize your heart chakra ………….

“I am now sending love to everyone I know with no strings attached and without expectations. I am compassionate and I show this to everyone I meet. I am willing to breathe deeply and allow the breath of life to enter my lungs. I am full of passion as I open my heart to receive the Universal flow of prosperity and abundance.

And So It Is! Thank You Mother/Father God for my many blessings!”

I had yet another opportunity to experience the true Spirit of Christmas because of a special group of friends who really showed up for me………….thank you Teresa, Tara, Adrienne, Ruth, Mary, and Sharee. You took me by surprise with so much giving and love. All I can say is this “I WANT MORE!” Wow it feels good to love and be loved!!

“Reality Shifting Project”

If you are new this month please be sure to read October and November newsletter. They have part 1 and part 2 of a 7 part series that I will be teaching on Chakra Anatomy and how it affects our prosperity and abundance. I decided in October to take my own personal power back from the entity called “Our Economy” which is blamed for scarcity and lack and destruction. I decided to create a different reality by shifting my own energies and by taking personal responsibility and accountability for what I have, or don’t have, in my life. With all that being said, can I just say “Holy Hannah! I have opened up a can of worms!”

In October we worked on our 1st chakra energy center and we moved up into our 2nd chakra in November. Remember that your 2nd chakra is located just below your belly button and resonates to the color orange. It relates to creativity, sexuality, sensuality, relationships, change, movement, desire, and pleasure. On a physical level the energy here supports your lower back, pelvic area, reproductive organs and bladder.

So, I went to work on my second chakra. I cleansed, charged and balanced (see last month newsletter for ideas and tips). After only 1 week I saw and felt HUGE results. The results being I could hardly move because of low back pain! I have never before experienced any kind of pain with any part of my back, so I knew I must have really stirred up stuck old energy (A can of worms one might say). At first I thought it was quite interesting and kind of cool because it validated that what I was doing was truly working. Well, after 2 weeks of being in pain I got a bit impatient. I wanted my 2nd chakra issues to be healed and cleared away and instead they got bigger and more obvious and more in my face to the point that my Ego Mind said “Ok, Lisa this is enough pain, you are focusing too much on the 2nd chakra. Just ignore your issues and let’s close this can of worms back up”. Hence, I went into a state of denial concerning specific relationship issues and I began to justify my lack of movement, my unwillingness to change or re-negotiate. My back pain lessened, and so did my cash flow! UGHH!! My second chakra was clogging up my ability to receive prosperity and abundance L

With extra time on my hands (because my clientele schedule slowed down due to the clogging) I decided to get a Reiki treatment. My Reiki practitioner, Sharee Snyder, (see website for her bio) intuitively worked heavily on clearing energy blocks in my 2nd chakra. After just 2 Reiki treatments I went into cleansing mode physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. (I got stuck in the bathroom for 24 hours). The good news is that I decided to shift out of denial and I am currently working on re-negotiating in a few specific relationships in order to create win/win situations for all who are involved.

So a few weeks go by and I hear from this friend again;

Congratulations to my friend for being willing to perceive her reality as ABUNDANT and for having the courage to keep moving through her second chakra even though it kinda opened a can of worms as she experienced pain with the loss of her precious hubby. I am in gratitude that she was willing to share with all of us…..THANK YOU!

So, are we all ready to move upward into our 3rd Chakra energy center? Let’s do it!

Your 3rd chakra is located in your solar plexus area just below your sternum and the color is yellow. This chakra relates to personal power, self-esteem, self control, self-honor, self respect, happiness, joy, and the courage to stand in your own power. This chakra supports you stomach , pancreas, liver, and gallbladder. When examining the health of your 3rd chakra, ask yourself these questions:

1. Do I constantly seek other’s approval and/or opinions?
2. Am I a control freak feeling over burdened as I take on too much responsibility?
3. Or am I just the opposite and I am easily controlled by others and afraid to stand up for myself?
4. Do I honor my own body with proper nutrition, exercise and rest?
5. Do I honor my own boundaries?
6. Is my self esteem easily attacked and depleted?
7. Are my own happiness and joy dependant on the happiness and joy of others?
8. Am I an over-eater?
9. Am I an over-achiever?
10. Do I often feel angry and resentful?

If you answered yes to the majority of these questions this could be where you block your ability to channel the flow of universal prosperity and abundance.

I have 1 simple and very effective cleansing technique for you to do on a daily basis this month for your 3rd chakra. Place your hand on this energy center (in your solar plexus area) move your hand in a clockwise direction as you imagine spinning the energy here, after a few minutes change the direction to counterclockwise. Spin the energy for several minutes. Then imagine or pretend that you are pulling yucky old icky energy out from your 3rd chakra. Use both of your hands to pull. Then flip or shake off your hands as you send these energies upwards to the heavens to be completely healed with love and light. Complete this cleansing by spinning the energy clockwise again. This technique is simple, powerful, and can be used on any chakra as many times a day as you feel like doing it. You may feel silly at first, but please keep doing it! After all, what have you got to lose?

After cleansing your 3rd chakra it is important to re-charge and balance the energy.

* Be willing to let go of your need to control others actions, thoughts and feelings. This type of control dis-empowers others and it also becomes a burden of responsibilities that are not meant to be yours. Being a control freak also creates anger, resentment, and low self-esteem in those whom you are trying to control. The ripple effect, or Karmic effect, will come back to bite you and could make you fat due to the extra burdens that control freaks carry!

· Take accountability for your own actions, thoughts and feelings and let go of your desire to cast out blame. When you blame other people or situations in your life you are simply “giving your power away” this will drain energy from your 3rd chakra and could leave you with digestive problems, fear, anxiety, pancreas or gallbladder weakness, etc.

· Do some Crystal Therapy using Yellow Citrine, Topaz, Sunstone or Adventurine Quartz, you can wear crystals, pack them in silk cloths, lay them on top of your 3rd chakra, hold them in your hands as you repeat affirmations, keep them within eyesight to remind you of the work you are doing in the energy center.

· Use Aromatherapy with the essential oils Bergamont, Cinnamon, Lemon, Vetiver, and Carnation. Rub a few drops on the bottom of your feet. Buy a diffuser that disperses the aroma into the air.

· Create affirmations that assist you in standing in your power, for example ” I AM a prosperous and abundant child of God” ” I AM a powerful creator ” ” I AM my own person, I choose how to think and behave” ” I AM worthy, I accept and value myself exactly as I am”

· Commit to taking care of your body with good nutrition, daily exercise, and proper rest. Your 3rd chakra relates to digestion and assimilation. So, eating as healthy as possible and taking good nutritional supplements will nurture this energy center. Also, if you have excess belly fat and you are not exercising daily, even just a 20 minute walk, it is possible to get stuck and congested in this chakra which could create a very toxic liver which then will give you dirty blood to circulate through out your body. YUCK! (My favorite exercises for my 3rd chakra are my mini-trampoline and laughter).

“Reality Shifting Project”

Wow! It has been a fun month working on 1st chakra energy in my “Reality Shifting Project”. Many of you jumped on board with me and I have enjoyed hearing from each of you on your progress. I am excited to share with you what I have learned so far.

I stared out with some positive affirmations and declaring to the Universe, to Mother/Father God, and to my Angels that I deserve and call forth abundance. Well, I quickly learned how I create for myself scarcity and lack! I say I want it BUT I block it with “conditions”. I say I deserve it but I block it with pride due to low self-esteem and self worth. Holy Hannah!!! Are any of you experiencing blocks to your abundance?

Here is just one of my examples… My dear friend Mary decides that she wants to experience the giving side of abundance. She goes on a shopping spree. Next thing I know, I have 4 boxes of clothing all for my 3 year old granddaughter sitting on my back porch. Not just 1 or 2 bags but yes, 4 full boxes! Here is where my first block to abundance showed up. I will label it “conditions”. My ego mind starts to chatter and say “I want abundance but only if it comes through me or my own works. I want abundance but not if it looks like charity. I want abundance but I don’t want anybody else to know what my abundance needs are. I want abundance but not if it means opening my heart to my friend and allowing vulnerability and humility into my space”. I am very clear that every time I stated or felt one of these “conditions” that the universal flow of abundance came to a screeching halt just before it entered into my reality!

The second block that showed up for me in this situation is called “pride”, which I now realize is due to low self esteem and lack of self worth. As I mentioned earlier, my friend Mary gave me 4 full boxes of clothing for my darling little granddaughter. I felt myself start to shrivel and shrink with guilt. I felt guilty that she spent so much money. Then I started to feel angry as my ego mind says “Why couldn’t she just by 1 or 2 boxes, why 4 boxes, why so much?” I felt like I should give her something in return to make up for her trouble and expense. My “pride” wanted to insist that I give her free Reiki treatments to pay her back. I let guilt consume me until I finally broke down in tears with the realization that I am lacking in self-worth. I did not feel deserving of so much abundance, even though I stated it in my affirmations.

This was a big “aha” moment for me. I became very clear that in order for me to shift reality I would first get to let go of the self-beat up stick, self-judgments, and self-criticisms. These are all blocks to the natural flow of abundance! I also learned that I get to be more balanced in the giving and receiving aspects of my relationships. All of our relationships show up as mirrors that reflect back to us what is going on internally. Which brings me to the next step on our “Reality Shifting Project.” I am now ready to move from the first chakra upward into the next chakra located below the navel.

The 2nd Chakra relates to relationships, change and movement, pleasure, creativity, sexuality, sensuality, and work. The Sanskrit name is Svadhisthana and means “sweetness”. We are moving out of survival mode and basic existence in our 1st chakra and moving upward to where our 2nd chakra can help us embrace the “pleasure principle”. This is what makes life worth living.

Learning how to balance the energy in your 2nd chakra includes an acceptance of the desire to enjoy a pleasurable lifestyle and to embrace whatever change is necessary to bring that about.

Let’s first start with some cleansing ideas:

• If you are a Reiki practitioner, draw the power symbol into this chakra.
• Take a bath in Jasmine oil as you say out loud a few releasing affirmations “I now let go and release any guilt concerning my desires”. “I now let go and release fear of sexuality and sensuality.” “I now let go and release worry about change and movement.” “I let go of heavy concerns with my work”
• Do some bowel cleansing with herbs or a colonic. People who are stuck in their 2nd Chakra are usually quite constipated! For professional info on body cleansing visit my friend Mia at www.cleansemybody.blogspot.com . I see her often. I LOVE colonics!
• Use Crystal Therapy with Citrine or Carnelian or Golden Topaz (or all 3). As I explained in my last newsletter… You do not need to do anything elaborate with a crystal in order to obtain its benefits. Just hold or examine it, have it in your environment where you can readily see it, put it near your bed, hold it during meditation, have it with you in your car, or wrap it in silk and take it with you in your pocket wherever you go. Bathe with them as you say your releasing affirmations (Be sure to cleanse your crystals before using them so they are not carrying anybody else’s energy, if you do not already know how to do this please feel free to E-mail me.)

After cleansing your chakra it is important to re-charge and balance the energy:

• Reiki practitioners can draw or visualize the master symbol in the chakra.
• Study the glandular connection to the 2nd Chakra which is Ovaries/Testes. Know your anatomy so you know how to best serve your body!
• Go out dancing, take dance classes, dance in private behind locked doors if you have to, put on some music and JUST MOVE! Your 2nd chakra is all about movement. Belly dancing is especially beneficial J
• Create a list of your desires and what you find pleasurable and sweet in life.
• Use positive affirmations to assist you in attracting sweetness and pleasure. For example “I AM open and willing to allow my creativity to flow abundantly” “I AM safe to allow change and movement in my life that will support my abundance of joy, sweetness, and prosperity” “I AM ready to accept my perfect job that nurtures my soul and supports my desires”
• Crystal Therapy is good for re-charging as well as for cleansing. Use the crystals listed above. Carry them in a beautiful pouch with your positive affirmations that I just listed, or affirmations that you have created yourself.
• Be willing to create win/win relationships by balancing the giving and receiving in your relationships. Are you the one who is constantly give-give-give? Or do you prefer to be the receiver most of the time? Are you mostly passive or do you tend to be the aggressive one?
• Look at your relationships as a reflection of what is going on within yourself.

Remember that your chakra system is made up of spinning vortices of light that transfer Life Force Energy. We receive Life Force Energy from our “Source” (whatever name you choose to call it ….God, Ala, Buddha, Krishna) I call it Mother/Father God or God/Goddess Energy. So anyway, if our chakras are clogged and dense then we are not able to channel the “Abundance” of life force energy that Mother/Father God supplies for us. It really boils down to choice and using wisdom from Spirit rather than Ego Mind to create our own reality. Right?

Reiki Healing for Beginners November 7- 8

I am teaching one more Reiki class this year. It is Levels 1 & 2. I teach both levels together in a weekend workshop. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Reiki is for EVERYBODY….not just people in the healing arts. Yes, Reiki is a healing modality but it turned out to be so much more for me personally. Reiki is a high frequency energy that will move through and break up denser and stuck energies. It is what we call a “Holistic” healing technique because it addresses our healing needs as the “holistic beings” that we each are. We are not just our physical bodies. We are not just our feelings and emotions. We are not just our thoughts. We are not just a spirit. We are all of these combined as a whole. In order to have complete healing of illness or dis-ease we get to look at all aspects of ourselves. It is vital that we release the dense and stuck energy in our physical body, our emotional body, our mental body, and in our spiritual body. Reiki can assist you.

Reiki is NOT a religion but in fact can be a very spiritual experience. Because it is spiritually guided life force energy, it does not depend on one’s intellect to use. You do not have to be good at meditating and you do not need to worry about hurting yourself or somebody else. Reiki can cause NO HARM. It is used worldwide in hospitals and compliments any other healing modality.

Most of my students learn Reiki with the intention of using it on themselves and loved ones. Some decide to make it a career like myself and others want to add it to the work they are already doing. They come from all walks of life with different careers, religions, and beliefs. My youngest student was my granddaughter at 18 months old. After receiving lots of Reiki from the moment of conception she became very familiar with the energy and started asking for it. Then one day she insisted that I sit still on the floor so SHE could give Reiki to me! She is now 3 years old and still loves giving and receiving Reiki almost on a daily basis.

My own children started learning Reiki between the ages of 6 and 8. I have had teenagers come to my classes that just blow me away with their natural knowing of energy flow and their strong connection to Spirit! Reiki is a great tool for doing homework and releasing un-healthy peer pressure.

Summer is gone and the fall season is here. As you know, this is the time of year that we get to experience the harvest of our seeds planted in the early spring. So how is it working out for you? Are you noticing seeds of “abundance” or seeds of “scarcity” sprouting up around you? The reason that I ask this question is because I continue to hear from the media, from people around me, and yes even from myself that our economy is creating scarcity and poverty and loss!! So, who is in charge of “Our Economy”? Why am I giving my power away to this entity called “Our Economy”. I realize that our collective consciousness has bought into the belief that “Our Economy” is in charge of our abundance. I read new age information that tells us we are supposed to be experiencing scarcity with loss and destruction because it will raise our vibration or make us better prepared for world shifts that are coming in 2012.

I would like to share with each of you that I have decided to choose something different. I am also inviting you all to join me in creating and manifesting abundance. I am no longer supporting our collective consciousness with thoughts and beliefs of scarcity and I am taking back my personal power that I gave to “Our Economy”. We keep hearing from wise, powerful and abundant leaders that we create our own reality, right? So it is actually pretty simple. I have created a list of to do’s that will manifest my own reality where abundance is the main scheme of everything. I invite you to partake of my list or perhaps create your own J

The first thing necessary is to make sure your 1st Chakra is balanced. We have 7 main energy centers called “Chakras”, which is a Sanskrit word meaning “spinning wheel of light”. Scientifically proven to exist, your chakras are part of your energy anatomy. Every living being, including the earth, has chakras. Lets focus on our 1st chakra for now because this chakra resonates with our foundation, feeling safe and secure, our physical bodies, and ABUNDANCE, meaning that all of our needs are met. Your 1st chakra is also called the “Root chakra”. It is located at the base of your spine and it resonates with a brilliant ruby red color. However, when the energy here gets stuck or clogged it has a muddy, dark red color to it. Your root chakra is related to issues of physical security and is affected by your thoughts and feeling about finances, home, family, physical safety, needs, and possessions.

Fears related to having your physical needs met make your root chakra shrink in size. You literally choke your root chakra with worries about money or possessions. This creates even more feelings of lack and limitations, as if there’s “never enough to go around.” A clogged root chakra usually creates self-fulfilling prophecies involving money challenges. So let’s start here to create our reality of abundance and prosperity.

Before we work on balancing our 1st Chakra we first get to cleanse it from stuck worries and fears. Here are some cleansing ideas.

• Add 3 cups of Epsom salt to a tub of hot water. Soak your body for 30 minutes while focusing on your red root chakra. Use affirmations such as “I now let go and release fears and worries concerning money, family, safety, and my physical body.” Use your imagination to see the Epsom salts actually dissolving and cleansing the clogged energy in this part of your body.
• Use Crystal therapy. You do not need to do anything elaborate with a crystal in order to obtain its benefits. Just hold or examine it, have it in your environment where you can readily see it, put it near your bed, hold it during meditation, have it with you in your car, or wrap it in silk and take it with you in your pocket wherever you go. (Be sure to cleanse your crystals before using them, if you do not already know how to do this please feel free to E-mail me.) Crystals that can be used for your root chakra are Onyx, Hematite, Garnet, Ruby, Red Jasper and Smoky Quartz. Also add the affirmations previously listed.
• Do some colon cleansing with herbs or a colonic. ( For professional info on body cleansing go to www.cleansemybody.blogspot.com)
• If you are a Reiki Practitioner then use the Power Symbol for cleansing and if not then you might want to consider scheduling yourself a Reiki Treatment!

Now let’s move on to balancing and recharging the 1st chakra energy. Here are some ideas:

• Connect and ground with nature
• Unclutter and beautify your home and work place
• Nurture plants or pets
• Practice gratitude, where your energy goes it grows! So, focus on your blessings, gifts and talents. GRATITUDE IS LATITUDE!
• Wear the color red, burn red candles, eat red fruits and veggies
  Use the essential oils Cedarwood, Myrrh, Patchouli
• Look up and study information on your Adrenal Glands. Each of your chakras are correlated to a specific gland in your body. Because your root chakra is correlated to your Adrenal Glands it will assist you to know how these glands function in your body. TO KNOW THYSELF IS TO HEAL THYSELF!
• Create a list of positive affirmations and put them on sticky notes for bathroom mirrors, your fridge, your car, workplace, on your pillow. Etc. Some examples could be “I AM a money magnet, money loves me and I AM abundant!” “I AM healthy, happy and abundant” “I AM worthy of prosperity because I AM a child of God” “I create what I desire with energy…everything is energy, energy is everything!” “I AM open to the abundant flow of good health and wealth that the Universe is now sending my way!”

I have been looking for several years for a system that I could trust to give accurate and true information. I finally found it! I have purchased the Aura Video Station. This is a Multimedia Biofeedback Imaging System using the Science of Biofeedback, Color Therapy and Energy Medicine to measure, analyze and display an accurate representation of your emotional- energetic state, your Aura.

We offer high quality color, full body Aura Chakra photos and Aura photo headshots. We will send you home with a 21 page personalized report and analysis. We are using a highly sophisticated biofeedback Aura Video System that has been used by hundreds of therapists, health practitioners, doctors, naturopaths, healers, Reiki practitioners, etc. since 1996. Our technicians are extensively trained and knowledgeable, as well as intuitive Reiki Master Practitioners.

THE AURA

Every living organism is surrounded by an electromagnetic energy field, called an Aura. Your Aura or energy field vibrates at different frequencies and basically reflects your connection between Body, Mind and Spirit. Your thoughts, emotions and beliefs are mirrored or reflected in the Aura, and therefore the Aura and Chakras can be used to determine the underlying issues related to physical symptoms. Your Aura and Chakras can be used as true holistic indicators of wellness.

It is common knowledge, that our thoughts and emotions have a very powerful effect and influence on our physical body. CHAKRAS

“Chakra” means spinning wheel in Sanskrit. Each chakra is aligned to one of the major endocrine glands, nerve centers and organs of the body. The chakras are transmitters for the subtle life force from the universe that enters the physical body at birth. When in balance each of the seven major chakras helps a particular part of the body to function perfectly. When unbalanced or blocked a whole range of mental, emotional, and physiological conditions can manifest.

Round, circular Chakras show a balanced Energy System, while non circular blurred Chakras show an imbalance in your Energy Centers. Also look at the color and brightness of each Chakra for a more detailed analysis. Aura Photo Sessions!

We offer 2 different packages to choose from.

Package A is $35 and includes a full body Aura Chakra photo along with a 21 page print out of your personalized report to take home. Plan on spending about 20 minutes with the technician.

Package B is $50 and includes all of package A…….. PLUS A CHAKRA BALANCING TREATMENT! After we take your photo, the technician (who is also a Reiki Master Practitioner) will use Reiki to cleanse and balance your 7 main chakras along with your auric field. Your photo will indicate what to focus on and where you are out of balance. After your treatment which is done privately while you are still sitting in a chair in our camera room, the technician will take another photo of you to compare with the first photo and to observe the changes and healing that took place during the treatment. Plan on spending at least 45 minutes with the technician for this package.

Remember that both packages include a very detailed 21 page report ALL ABOUT YOU! This report is easy to read and easy to digest! Our mission is to empower you with knowledge that will assist you to achieve good health, peace and prosperity.

Sharee Snyder is dedicated to empowering others through her passion for energy work, nature and the human spirit. She has always appreciated the importance of maintaining good physical health as well as mental and emotional balance. After several years of receiving treatments and experiencing first hand the healing benefits that Reiki offers, Sharee decided to enroll in Reiki training with Healing Light Reiki Center. She completed the necessary levels and became a certified Reiki Master Practitioner. She has extensive knowledge of crystals, the human body and essential oils. She has also earned a bachelors degree from the Brigham Young University in Health Education. She holds a special place in her heart for adolescents and hopes to someday teach healing classes with this age group. While at the BYU she also studied horticulture, plants, herbs, aromatherapy, and she makes fabulous healing teas! Sharee is very grounded and connected to the healing energies of Mother Earth, which she taps into during her healing sessions with clients. REIKI INVITATIONS

I want to extend a sincere invitation to those of you who have not yet attended one of my Reiki Classes. I am teaching Reiki I/II for beginners September 11-12. This is a Friday and Saturday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. I LOVE teaching Reiki and I LOVE having Reiki available to me in my personal every day life. While it is true that I have many many many blessings in my life to be thankful for, I am still quite human living in a world that gives me lots of opportunity to learn forgiveness, self-love, and unconditional love for others! Let’s just say it is a good thing I have Reiki on my side working with me as I grow and s-t-r-e-t-c-h outside of many comfort zones!
