If you are a Usui Reiki Master for at least 6 months and you are able to draw the Reiki II and Reiki Master symbols from memory then you qualify for the Karuna Reiki training!  All lineages honored from other Reiki schools!

Karuna Reiki is the next step after Usui Reiki Master and is complete with two levels, two attunements, four master symbols and eight treatment symbols all taught in a 2 day intensive workshop. (19 Hours)

A brief description of the four Karuna I symbols are:

• “Zonar” prepares the client for deep healing and is useful with past life issues. It helps release karma and deeply seated issues on the cellular level.
• “Halu” heals deeply and can be used to breakup the negative patterns we unconsciously use to insulate ourselves from the truth, thus shattering delusion and denial. It heals the shadow self.
• “Harth” fills the person with love and restores balance.
• “Rama” completes the treatment by bringing the client back into the body and grounding.

The Karuna II symbols are of a higher vibration and very powerful. Here is brief description:

• “Gnosa” means knowledge or wisdom. This symbol helps you access wisdom through your higher self and anchor it into your physical body.
• ‘Kriya” means action. This symbol assists you to put your goals, visions and dreams into action!
• “Iava”  relates to your personal Divine Power and can assist you to keep your energy clear from thought forms projected by others, and also from your own fears.
• “Shanti” is Sanskrit for peace. Shanti can assist you in trusting that all situations in life can offer positive experiences through growth and therefore assist you in finding peace in the lessons learned from your challenges.

Karuna Reiki Master Class Day 1 Includes:

• Learn what Karuna Reiki is, about its origin and connection to Spiritual Beings.
• Learn Karuna I symbols, how to draw them, activate them, and what to use them for.
• Learn the Karuna Master Symbols.
• Receive attunement for Karuna Master Level I.
• Review Violet Breath Technique, learn and practice giving Karuna Master Level 1 Attunement.
• Introduction to the healing benefits of Chanting with Karuna Reiki frequencies.
• Practice time for giving self treatment with Karuna I Symbols combined with Chanting.

Day 2 Includes:

• Learn how to draw Karuna Reiki II symbols and what each one can be used for.
• Shadow Self discussion.
• Meditation for Healing the Shadow Self using the symbol Halu.
• Receive attunement for Karuna Master Level II.
• Learn and practice giving Karuna Master Level II Attunement.
• Introduction to the healing benefits of Toning with Karuna Reiki frequencies.
• Practice time for students to give and receive Karuna Reiki treatments with toning, chanting, and experiencing each Karuna symbol.

 A detailed 45 page class manual is included to assist you in further home study of Karuna Reiki. It includes in depth descriptions of each symbol and each attunement process.

Upon completion you will receive a certificate from the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). You will have the knowledge and training to be able to teach (if you choose to be a teacher) all levels of Karuna Reiki® as a “Registered Karuna Reiki® Master” with The International Center for Reiki Training. This will allow you to order Karuna Class Student Manuals with student certificates directly from the ICRT.

Please remember that Karuna Reiki is available to all Usui Reiki Masters whether or not your path includes teaching Reiki!! The content of this 2 day Karuna Reiki Master workshop will enhance, strengthen, and expand upon the tools that Usui Reiki has already given you to do healing work on yourself, family, friends, pets, etc., etc., etc.!  Also, remember that we honor all Usui Reiki lineages from other schools and teachers!

Tuition – $568

Deposit - $200 will reserve your space and the remaining balance is due by the 1st day of class. Deposits are non refundable and may be transferred to future classes within 1 year.

Class Times - Doors open at 9:20am. Class starts promptly at 9:30 am. We finish at 7:00 p.m. both days.

Lunch - A one-hour lunch break is given. We have many nearby fast-food options, nice restaurants and natural health food stores within 10 minutes driving distance. Or bring your own sack lunch and simply relax during the break.

Munchies - Please to bring healthy snacks to eat through out the day. It is almost a 10 hour day plus we are “Spiritually High” most of the time so it is important that we nourish our bodies and keep ourselves grounded periodically!

Dress – Casual and comfy, and please bring a water bottle. Also wear warm socks. (Classroom wood floor gets cold)

Private Sessions – Lisa reserves 1 day prior to class and 1 day following class for students who would like to receive a private Reiki healing treatment. About Karuna Reiki

Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translanted to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as “compassionate action.” When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one. Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit. Because of the oneness of all beings, it is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love, but also because it is an entirely logical thing to do. In the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds, you would also want the wounds of others to heal. It is also stated in the Buddhist literature that Karuna must be accompanied by prajna or wisdom in order to have the right effect.

Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering on Earth. They continually send an unlimited amount of healing energy and guidance to us, but not all are receptive to it. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by all enlightened beings. Thus your healing is quickened as well.

Karuna Reiki® opens you to work more closely with all enlightened beings. This includes those enlightened ones who are physically present as well as those in spirit.

Learning Karuna Reiki

Karuna Reiki is taught only by Registered Karuna Reiki Masters. These teachers have agreed to abide by a code of ethics, minimum teaching standards, a standard curriculum, and to do the attunements as they were developed by the Internation Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). The minimum amount of  hours required to teach this class is 14 and some teachers choose to spread it out into 21. You can expect to attend either a 2 day or 3 day Karuna class.

All attunements must be givin in person rather than at a distance or over the internet. All Registered Karuna Reiki Masters have a lineage which can be traced to a teacher licensed by the International Center for Reiki Training, and ultimatly to William Rand. Karuna Reiki is taught to individuals who have at least 6 months experience as Usui Reiki Masters.

Karuna Reiki Masters are trained in a 2 to 3 day intensive workshop. They move through level 1, level 2, and the master level of the energy during these 2 to 3 days. In Karuna Reiki I, four symbols are taught and an attunement to those symbols plus three master symbols are given. In Karuna Reiki II, four additional symbols are taught and the attunement to these addition symbols is given. In the Master training, all attunements are taught and practiced on each other…..powerfully healing!

Attunement can be defined as the act of  “matching vibration” with a specific spiritual energy or frequency of light. Attunements raise the vibration of an individual. During a Karuna Reiki attunement our subtle energy system, or etheric bodies, clear and release denser energies and they are strengthened so that we are capable of holding higher frequencys of light for longer periods of time.

Karuna Reiki is a system of healing that has evolved out of the Usui Reiki System, which is believed to have been discovered in 1914 by Mikao Usui on the holy mountain of Kurama near Kyoto, Japan. When translated from Sanskrit, Karuna means, “Compassionate action accompanied by wisdom.”  The combination of the energetic essence of Karuna and Reiki, which is spiritually guided life force energy, births a new, deep, powerful healing form for our planet. Karuna Reiki does NOT replace Usui Reiki. It is a healing frequency that can be used in healings either alone or combined with the frequency of Usui Reiki.

Karuna Reiki is an evolution of Usui Reiki that has come forth as a direct expression of the expansion of the Reiki energy itself.
