 In Day 1 of  this active hands-on 2 day class you will learn and experience:

• Honoring the 7 sacred directions.
• A guided Reiki drum journey to find and reclaim your voice.
• Group drumming.
• Reiki drumming attunement.
• A guided drum journey that will introduce you and connect you to the healing spirit of your very own drum.
• Connecting to your Reiki symbols with drumming meditation.
• Incorporating the power of “I AM” statements with Reiki Drumming to recode unhealthy mental and emotional patterns that are holding you back from creating all that you desire.
• Creating, affirming, and integrating positive change through sound.

Absolutely everyone has the talent and ability to drum! NO musical experience necessary!

In Day 2 you will learn and experience:

• Self-drumming treatment that increases vitality and brings balance into your own Chakra System.
• How to give a complete 60 minute Chakra Drumming Treatment to others incorporating your Reiki symbols.
• Drumming technique for Chakra cleansing to release blocks or stuckness in energy flow.
• Chakra empowering technique to increase light and the flow of Source Energy.
• Aura cleansing technique to promote healing and the release of anything less than light in the auric field.
• Aura strengthening technique to expand light and repair tears and holes in the auric field.
• Drumming as a meditation tool for yourself and others.
• Break up dense or heavy energy in your home, office, car, classroom, healing space, etc. with Reiki Drumming.
• Raise the vibration and increase feelings of peace in your living environment.

In this workshop, I will take you through the Chakras one at a time. I will teach you how to cleanse, balance and heal the Chakra System, along with the Auric Field, through the use of drumming and your Reiki symbols. I have produced a homestudy chakra healing program titled “You Can Heal Your Life. One Chakra at a Time”. You can enhance your Reiki Drumming Class by completing this homestudy program either before or after you attend the Drumming Class. (optional, not required)

Reiki Drumming affects the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies simultaneously, helping to bring  them into harmony while raising the vibratory rate to levels that may allow the body to accelerate its natural healing abilities. Drumming reminds our body of its ideal vibratory rate, which is in harmony with the pulse of the earth and the Universal flow of creation.

We connect directly with the Heart and the Mind of the Divine when we access Reiki energy. Drumming is also a way to align with Divine, as has been experienced since ancient times, through native spiritual, and shamanic healing practices.

Pre-requisite - Reiki Levels I and II. All Reiki lineages welcome!

Tuition - $350 total and includes a detailed class manual and your own Reiki Drum! Practice time is included for all the topics listed above.

Tuition For Reiki Refreshers - Only $1oo for all students of Healing Light Reiki Center to come back and review any previously taken Reiki Class! AND, after your first review you can attend the same class FREE as many times as you would like to! Reiki Refreshers are a fun way to connect with like minded people. Repetition is a great learning tool and each class is unique offerring new ideas and beautiful new ways of healing with Reiki.

Deposit - $150 will reserve your space and your drum. The remaining balance is due by the 1st day of class or you may choose to pay the full tuition at time of registration. Deposits are non refundable and may be transferred to future classes within 1 year.

Class Times – 9:30am to 6:30pm both days.

Lunch - A one-hour break is given. We have many nearby fast-food options, nice restaurants, and natural health food stores within 10 minutes driving time. Or bring your own sack lunch and simply relax during the break.

Dress - Casual and comfy. Please bring a water bottle.

Private Sessions – Lisa reserves 1 day prior to class and 1 day following class for students who would like to receive a private Reiki Drumming treatment from her. Scientific Study

Scientific studies related to the effect that sound has on matter are relatively new, yet we are already learning that sound does alter matter. Swiss scientist, Dr. Hauns Jenny demonstrated how various substances such as sand; plastics and liquid would take on a particular shape and form when various sound waves were passed through them. These experiments indicate that sound has the ability to affect and change the molecular structure of matter.

Striking any material will cause it to vibrate, and this can have an effect on nearby objects by creating a sympathetic response. When a drum is played, the drum head will vibrate causing the nearby molecules of air to vibrate. The vibrating molecules of air will strike other nearby molecules of air and continue on. This is known as a sound wave. This wave will continue and pass through the client you are drumming for, causing the molecules composing their body to sympathetically respond with vibration. When done with a therapeutic intention, the vibration produced will be healthy and will displace any vibrations of disease, which may be present in the client.

Medical Study

A medical research study indicates that group drumming boost the immune system. Published in the January, 2001, issue of Larry Dossey’s Alternative Therapies, the ground-breaking study was performed at Meadville Medical Center’s Mind-Body Wellness Center, by a team of MDs using control groups and blood test.

Led by well-known researcher, author and cancer expert Barry Bittman, MD, CEO of Meadville Medical Center’s Mind-Body Wellness Center in Meadville, PA, the study shows that group drumming actually increases cancer-killing (NK) cells which help the body combat not only cancer but other viruses, including AIDS. Group drumming tunes our biology, orchestrates our immunity, and enables healing to begin. When our hands connect with a drum that vibrates with our energy, vitality, and unity we become whole again.

Drumming has also been used successfully with Alzheimer’s patients to focus attention, with war veterans to end trauma, with addicts in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse, and with prison and homeless populations to enhance self-esteem. Progressive corporations like Motorola, AT&T, and Levi-Strauss have drummed with middle management to promote team-spirit building.

“To know thyself is to heal thyself” Learning chakra anatomy will open doors to your inner guidance, it will strengthen your psychic ability which is the key to your personal power and spiritual connection. I strongly encourage you to learn as much as possible about yourself! Your Chakra System is a part of your anatomy, just like you have your muscular system, your digestive system, circulatory system, and so forth. In day 2 of  this workshop we will focus on your 7 Major Chakras which are shown in this photograph to your left. This is an actual photograph taken of a person using our Aura Photography system.

The word “chakra” comes from the Sanskrit language meaning “wheel” or “disk” because they are spinning wheels of light or energy. They spin in a clockwise direction. Your 7 major chakras are located along your spine, starting at the base or tailbone area, and moving upwards to the crown of your head. They are each found next to a hormonal gland and they radiate energy constantly.

Although each chakra is closely associated with a specific organ or endocrine gland, these spinning vortexes of energy are part of your subtle energy anatomy. The fact that we usually cannot physically detect our chakras is because they operate as energy fields vibrating at a rate that is undetectable by the human eye and brain. However, this is not always the case, there are many psychic healers and very highly-sensitive people who can see auras and chakra centers.

Furthermore, using technology developed from the NASA space program, Dr. Valorie Hunt has scientifically verified that not only does chakra energy exist, but that they are in fact, connected in a very real way to our sensations, feelings and thoughts. For example, if you hold negative or fear-based thoughts and feelings, your chakras become dense and clogged. They cannot push through sufficient energy. This leaves you feeling tired and out of balance because these vital energy centers govern the regulation of your life force.

When life force energy is obstructed, you will feel sickly, tired, depressed, confused, fearful, and disconnected. The health benefits are numerous because your chakras relate to all aspects of your life physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Psychologically, the chakras correspond to major areas of our lives: survival in the 1st chakra, sex in the 2nd, personal power in the 3rd, love in the 4th, communication in the 5th, imagination and perception in the 6th, and spirituality in the 7th.

Each center also correlates to an essential spiritual lesson or life lesson we must learn. Every thought and experience you’ve ever had in your life gets filtered through these Chakra databases, and is imprinted in your cells.

In addition to corresponding to glands in the endocrine system, our Chakras also represent the elemental forces of earth, water, fire, air, sound, light and thought. Each chakra resonates at a different energetic frequency and corresponds to a specific color of the rainbow.
