Creating Lasting Change

As a person working in the healing arts for two decades, I know there is power, peace and inspiration that comes to me as a result of my work. I’m affected by the same stressors as anyone else, so I daily practice the tools I teach to stay balanced. And, I am often blessed to participate in a class so powerful it knocks my socks off!

That’s exactly what happened during my latest Chakra Healing Workshop that was held February 16 & 17. Holy Hannah! From the amazing people who assisted and attended to the exciting new curriculum, this was a powerful class! Even though I work on my Chakras every morning, the meditations, oils, crystals, etc, etc, etc, sent me into a powerful healing process for days after the class! I had the opportunity to get to know myself and heal on even deeper levels all week long – what a simply beautiful experience. I feel cleansed, re-energized, and lighter, just from teaching the class! My heartfelt gratitude to all of my students who came together and created such a powerful class.

For starters, we had inspiring meditations to tune into and cleanse each Chakra, as well as feasts of colors for the eyes and delicious, grounding and inspiring aromas through essential oils… and that was just the tip of the iceberg!

I would like to thank Kim and Cynthia, owners of Crystal Creations, who set up beautiful displays at the end of class with healing gems and crystals to assist my students in their healing. Students could go right home and create their Chakra healing crystal layouts and begin the healing process immediately.

Thanks also to Crystal Anderson, for contributing her bio-energetics machine. Students were able to test their bodies’ energy frequency on this sophisticated, scienthree lovely ladiestific machine to discover what Chakras they should focus on first. Warm thanks as well to Jamie Larrabee, who brought healing bath products specific for individual Chakras. For example, those needing Crown Chakra Tableto balance their root Chakra could go home and saturate themselves in a glorious, red bath while meditating on that particular Chakra.

Last, but not least, many thanks to five of my Reiki students who took time out of their busy schedules to assist me in preparing a sacred, healing space for our classroom: Mary Diarte, Jamie Larrabee, Kim Page, Courtney Larrabee, Crystal Anderson, and MaryShae Walker.

Tips For “LIFE-ing”

Introducing Magnificent Kids

As a certified coach and facilitator through the renowned Hendricks Institute, Meg Naylor has taught many adults. Now she wants to bring all her skills to effectively motivate kids to find their true gifts. Magnificent Kids begins March 9, 2007 and was created by Meg to assist children in embracing what life truly can offer them.

“I’ve noticed kids will totally lose themselves in others and give away their power,” says Meg. “Or they take what others say verbatim and even make up stories about themselves — something is ‘wrong with me.’ My intention is to powerfully and positively inspire kids to break free of blocks, to own their voices, and to learn what a gift they are.”

Magnificent Kids is broken into three age groups: Ages 7-10, 11-13, and 14 and up. A commitment to attending twice a month is all that is required for your child to make huge shifts in their consciousness and personal power. Classes will be held at 9065 South 255 West, Sandy, Utah. If enough interest is shown, another series of classes may be taught in Lindon at the home of Lisa Ross-Walker.

The “Magic” of Reiki I/II

Is Reiki really magic? Scientifically, there is an explanation for Reiki energy, yet students who have taken the classes are ecstatic at what feels like “magical” results that show up in their lives.

Marc and Liberty Mason recently took Reiki I/II and have this to share: “Every time I give a Reiki treatment to someone,” says Liberty, “I love to look in a mirror afterwards. I look and feel ten years younger! It’s very refreshing. I’m more balanced, and I have gained a higher understanding of my own divinity. Reiki is calming, empowering, and it has opened a lot of doors for me with great clarity.”

Marc agrees. “Reiki has allowed me to use the healing force that is within me,” he says. “I’ve had Reiki treatments before that were really powerful. The realization that I could do it for myself was even more powerful.”
