Healing Light Reiki Center has moved to 1103 South Orem Blvd in Orem, Utah. My good friend of many years Mindi Memmott has graciously allowed me to create my own beautiful sacred healing space that includes a treatment room and classroom in the bottom level of her salon. Teresa Scheidler
Teresa is a former client who then became a Reiki student and who is now a powerful Reiki Master Practitioner working here at Healing Light Reiki Center. Teresa’s transformation began when she received her first Reiki treatment. I remember her first words to me when she sat down in my waiting room, “I am not really sure why I am here. I don’t even know what Reiki is but my friend Ruth Zamora says I need it!” She became entranced by the beauty of this healing energy and she knew she deserved to be a part of it. She learned all she could about Reiki and received her certification as a Usui Reiki Master. The practice of Reiki has brought much healing and comfort to her friends and family, as well as to herself. Teresa can assist you to see the beauty of the world and the beauty that lies within. She approaches each session with compassion and love. She has created a one hour session that includes Healing with Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Aura Clearing and Reiki Drumming. Treatment fee is $50.00. Also working with me, as many of you already know, is my daughter MaryShae Walker.
She has the amazing ability to give Psychic Energy Readings. This is a 30 minute session that entails a look into your personal energy field, the chakras, aura, and messages from angels and higher self. The fee is $30. ( 60 minute sessions are available for $60) She was born with the natural ability to read energy and has also taken extensive training to open and expand her knowledge in this area. MaryShae has been an “interesting” child to raise. It has been fun for me to watch her mature and hone in on her skills the last year. My clients and students have really benefited from her readings. Reiki drumming
Reiki Drumming is a specialized method of healing that makes use of the sound waves from the drum to introduce Reiki energy more deeply into a client’s energy field to facilitate deep relaxation and stress relief. If you are interested in exploring your ability to heal and manifest with sound, drumming is one good place to start. Absolutely everyone has the talent and ability to drum. Your beat may be different, but it is your very own unique beat. It is an expression of your being that is perfect in its wholeness and completion. Like you, a drum is a sacred healing tool with a unique spirit. In Shamanism, the drum is known as “the Shaman’s horse,” as it allows the Shaman to “ride” the sound waves created by the drum into another dimension to help a person heal. Through combining Reiki and drumming, we are blending two specific frequencies, that of Reiki and that of sound. The result is an enhanced healing experience in a safe and sacred environment.
