Reiki healing at it’s best! I had a fabulous time teaching Reiki levels I/II May 15-16. We had an equal total of male and female students. This only happens occasionally. Way to go men! You are powerful and gentle, strong and yet soft, you are each amazing Reiki practitioners! Thank you for standing in your power, thank you for joining our class. Also, my heart fills with gratitude to each of you beautiful women who assisted in creating a safe healing environment for our class with a beautiful balance of male/female energy! Now….get on out there and share your light with the world!

Schedule Change for Monthly Meditation Class

This class is still held once every month, however, it will not be on the 3rd Monday anymore. See schedule below.

Everybody is welcome with NO pre-requisites! The cost is only $20 and we meet from 6pm to 8pm. RSVP required by calling Lisa @ 801-360-6909 (seating is limited to first 15 students)

The following is our class agenda;

June 22nd Tuesday…..I will teach you an easy and peaceful way of clearing your mind of that “monkey chatter” that drives you crazy! (and will block your Spiritual guidance) I learned this technique while attending a 10 day meditation retreat with world renowned Deepak Chopra. It is called “Sutra Meditation”.

July 27th Tuesday……I am currently in the process of producing another healing meditation cd called “Soul Linking”. This class will teach you what Soul Linking actually is and how this powerful technique can rid you of pain and resentment that perhaps you have held onto for years and years! My CD should be available for purchase at this class!

August 17th Tuesday……Feeling scattered or disconnected? Have you been uprooted lately or had your foundation rocked? Allow me to guide you through a very grounding visualization that will assist you to feel safe, secure and supported again. We will also discuss the 1st Chakra energy center and how it affects your health. We will close with a drumming session to connect you to Mother Earth.

Ready to move upward? Ready to claim your “Divine Right” to abundance?

Oh and what does “Divine Right” actually mean? What is your reality concerning God/Goddess or Source Energy? Who or what is your Higher Self? Who are YOU and why are you here? Who or what creates abundance….or lack thereof?

Uugghhh…………does anybody out there get confused at times?

I may or may not have YOUR specific answers, BUT I know how you can get in touch with your own answers! OPEN YOUR CROWN CHAKRA, also known as your 7th Chakra.

This energy center is the end of our journey through our 7 main Chakras. It is located on the top of your head where your soft spot was as a baby. The color is majestic purple. (some see it as white, or both) It governs cosmic consciousness, your connection to spiritual wisdom, knowledge of truth, your purpose in this lifetime, and your spiritual path. This power center is your connection to God/Goddess, your Higher Self, or your Spirit Self. It resonates with unity, humanitarianism, and selfless service.

Characteristics of an out-of-balance 7th Chakra could be: depression, a feeling of confinement, intense worry and anxiety, fear of religion, fear of spirituality, unable to live in the present moment. Feeling selfish, alone, disconnected and alienated, having senility and confusion, behaving catatonic, destructive personality, hesitation to serve, having a huge ego with no sense of a higher power! WOW!

So how do you keep your 7th Chakra healthy in order to connect to the Divine and maintain your openness to receive abundance as the divine child that you are???

I LOVE this chakra because I LOVE talking about God and Goddess, therefore I could go on and on with tips and ideas BUT for the sake of keeping this newsletter short and sweet I will just share a few favorites!

1. Keep 95% of your attention in the NOW. You know darn well that the past is gone…the future is always in the future….therefore you only truly ever have NOW! (have you read the book “The Power of Now”)

2. Do not become overly attached to anything in this physical, worldly plane. Attachments get in the way of your spiritual growth and become detours on your path, or your purpose in life. People get too attached to their house, cars, favorite pair of diamond earrings, or a piece of real estate that has been in the family for generations, etc. etc. Yes, these things all have great value, but are they more valuable than your connection with universal source energy, or Mother/Father God?

3. People also get too attached to their beliefs, their ideas, their philosophies, their goals, and the plans they have laid out for their future. Did you ever stop to think that maybe these plans, goals and beliefs could be leading you away from your spiritual path?

I have a true story to share that has changed the way I do my career, my family, and my friendships. I knew a lady that had it all together – earned a good income, was beautiful, she had a husband and children, and a perfect retirement plan. Every day she went to work with her awesome future in mind, knowing if she earned a lot of money today, she could retire by the age of 45, which was her plan. Family vacations were rare, and extra spending just took money from the future. She spent more and more time at work, as did her husband, both preparing financially for their awesome future. Their marriage became lifeless, without passion, lacking love and nurturing. Their children became angry, resentful, abandoned, and lonely. Every now and then, usually when a situation forced her to, she would recognize what was happening to her family, but her response was always the same: “It will be okay. In just a few years, we will retire with lots of money, and then we can all spend a lot of time together. Just wait and see, our future will be awesome!”

This friend of mine lacked the ability to live in the present. She was too attached to her retirement plan, too attached to her ideas of what the future should look like. She died of a heart attack at the age of 41, leaving behind lots of money, unfulfilled plans, no vacation memories, and grieving children. I would like to take a moment here, and say Thank You to my dear friend, for the lesson I learned from her. I want to make it clear, that she was not wrong, or bad. She did the best she could do with the knowledge she had. She was simply following advice from generations before her along with her financial planner “work, work, work, save and plan for the future”.

Her powerful legacy lives on as I share her story. I always feel her inspiring Spirit with me when I share her life experience. My lesson learned here is; Everything in moderation with common sense. Let go of attachment to my ideas, patterns, thoughts, opinions, goals, belief systems. Trust my ability to be flexible as I gain courage to stretch, release, and grow spiritually!

Does this story trigger anything for you? What insight might you gain about how you are doing life? Are your attachments working for you? Perhaps it is time to re-evaluate and re-prioritize? (and do this often because you change constantly)

Positive Affirmations That Support and Energize Your 7th Chakra:

I am constantly growing as I let go of attachments in my life. I am FREE of fixed beliefs and opinions. I am willing to ask my higher self each day for the ability to deepen my understanding of life and to move me beyond judgment and prejudice.

I am now connecting with the healing energies of the universe, to heal myself, and all those around me who are ready to be healed. This is a day of great healing! I am open and willing to give selfless service as my connection to humanity strengthens and deepens.

I am now open and willing to allow Divine wisdom to guide me throughout this day in making inspired choices that serve my purpose in his life.

I am a Co-Creator, I claim this power now to manifest ABUNDANCE, And so it!

Reiki Invitation

June 26. Attention all Reiki students from all lineages with at least Level 1and level 2 training. I invite you to attend Reiki level 3A on June 26.
