Reiki Opens So Many Doors… Even Medical Facilities
A local student of Lisa’s tells another astonishing tale of Reiki’s powerful uses in the workplace — this time in another branch of the healing arts historically not so open
Amazing things begin to happen when you open yourself to all the miracles of Reiki. We’ve written about Lisa’s student Brent, and how he’s incorporated Reiki’s many blessings into his blossoming printing business. Brent also has a medical and healing background, which is one of the reasons he is so intrigued with Reiki. Through his many professional contacts and friends, he was recently flown to West Palm Beach, FL for four days to participate in a surgery, training session for medical/surgical staff, and to do a cleansing and dedication on a medical facility.
“It was a really powerful four days,” Brent says. “I was invited in by Dr. Harold Bafitis, a doctor who is nationally and internationally known for his work in surgical care and nasal reconstruction.” Brent says they had been planning this trip for some time, and Dr. Bafitis introduced him to his staff as Reiki Master Brent Lund. Brent proceeded to do Reiki in the room, on the patient, the doctor and even nurses during the surgery.
“That was the first time I ever, ever felt so relaxed in my back during surgery!” exclaimed Dr. Bafitis. “I don’t know what you did, but it sure felt good.” Later they had a cleansing of Dr. Bafitis’ new building, and then Brent dedicated it to all the people that were coming for a new life. After the party, Dr. Bafitis commented again on how much energy and vitality he felt, when he was generally so drained after surgery. Even the nurses commented.
“Can you teach us what you know before you have to leave?” they asked eagerly. That was impossible, but Brent has been invited back to teach and to train further in Reiki, and the possibilities of what doors can be opened are endless, especially as Dr. Bafitis is planning on discussing Brent’s skills and the outcome of his Reiki in a speech before hundreds of doctors in his field. And the miracles continue to flow…

Postnasal Drip… My Ass!!
For years, I continually cleared my throat, especially in the mornings. I was diagnosed by a doctor as having postnasal drip, a particularly annoying thing which, according to doctors, has no cure and ‘may’ get better with antihistamines such as benadryl. I would work hard to not clear my throat, but the mucous would become too much and it just kept happening.
Now, I don’t have the throat-clearing issue anymore. It was never made better by benadryl, and no doctor ever told me how to cure it. I cured it on my own. What I know now is that this ‘postnasal drip’, which is really just a symptom, was occurring because my throat chakra was unhealthy, slow, and filled with stuckness. One of the symptoms of an out-of-balance throat Chakra is constant clearing of the throat.
In my journey of self-healing, I gradually learned to speak my truth. Later, I learned to speak my truth with compassion. I got in touch with WHO I AM, and learned to authentically be me. I made the choice to release a marriage that did not work for me.
All these things related to balancing my throat chakra-speaking my truth; standing for who I am; making choices; and, speaking compassionately. Now, I receive Reiki treatments weekly to keep all my chakras balanced and healthy. I use the CD Heal Your Life One Chakra at a Time to work on my chakras at home. I use throat chakra oil when it is slow or out of balance.
In my journey, I have learned that all dis-ease comes from my body’s energy system of chakras. If a chakra is out of balance, my body experiences symptoms. Now, as a health consultant, I assist people to know where to go and how to treat dis-ease that they have been told can’t be treated.
